Her new double single, So Cool / It's Getting Old, out May 8, 2025, explores her struggles with self-acceptance and the absurdity of self-doubt. 

Alicia Clara's upcoming debut LP is an intimate exploration of a constant pull toward transformation, and the dichotomy between Clara’s internal and external worlds, which anchors the album both sonically and lyrically.

 

With velvety vocals often compared to the likes of Hope Sandoval and Jessica Pratt, Clara’s past two EPs have won acclaim from CBC, Exclaim!, Le Devoir, have charted !earshot and Bandcamp’s Best Selling Albums in Indie Pop. Her project has led her to perform at festivals such as SXSW and the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, and will see her support Thundercat at the Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ) in July 2025.
